One more year, Dahlberg participated in the Palma International Boat Show (PIBS), one of the most significant dates at the international nautical calendar. Over the four days when the trade fair took place, plenty of visitors – professionals, customers and suppliers – came to the stand of the company, interested in the wide offer of this company which is leading the nautical electronics, comfort on board, sanitation and maritime security sector.
Among the principal products Dahlberg presented at the trade show, we can highlight the SailaWave 5G antenna. This dispositive is tri-band, has two routers and can work with two operators at the same time, making it possible to achieve a constant and high-quality communication on board at a reasonable price.
The new EPIRB, which includes AIS, TRON60AIS of Jotron, created a big interest among the visitors. This product is having a high demand due to the expectations of a new legislation which would demand the obligation of having on board a dispositive with automatic identification system (AIS) as well as a GPS.
Regarding the nautical electronics sector, Dahlberg’s stand stood out thanks to the exclusive exhibition of the new chartplotter and high-speed navigation system Zeus3 of B&G. It includes specific functionalities for sailing, race assistance and is a perfect decision to install it in monohull as well as in multihull vessels.
Also, as every year, Dahlberg’s stand was able to stand out because of their distinctive
exhibition of Vacuflush and Masterflush toilets of DOMETIC, and electric toilets of SANIMARIN. “At a nautical trade show where large yachts and glamorous articles predominate, it can seem weird to exhibit toilets but is a key part of our business and why we are well-known among people of the sector” state Margarita Dahlberg, who in addition to represent the company at the PIBS, has been linked to the trade fair since the beginning because she played an important role at the event from her former position as a president of the Nautical Companies Association of the Balearic Islands (AENIB).
“This nautical trade show has a big international echo, and it is noticeable thanks to the large number of suppliers that come to visit” points out Dahlberg. “This year, we left with a nice feeling: weather was lovely and there have been many visitors. If we focus on Dahlberg, we noticed a big interest on our stand. Every year, we make an effort to bring sanitation, security and electronic innovations in order to keep leading the offer of the trade show”.
